One 33-year-old woman gave birth over the Atlantic in an airplane that flew from Jordan to New York.
Airport authorities in New York announced that Vera Jaber, a Jordanian citizen, who was traveling alone, had a baby heavy 2.7 pounds, at the time the plane was above the Atlantic.
"From what he told the doctor, birth had occurred fairly quickly" , told AFP Joe Pentanđelo, a spokesman for airport authorities.
