The footage is not clear what it is that it turned out the suspect, and police said the gun.
When Walker continued to flee, police officer fired five shots at him.
"From what we can see on the video, a police officer acted appropriately," police said.
An investigation into this case is ongoing, and the officer was suspended until further notice.
US President Barack Obama in December requested 263 million in funding for the camera on the bodies of police training and after incidents when white police killed unarmed African Americans.
